You're equating a diary of someone's life with a book that claims to be historical record? Everyone knows diaries are relative to the experiences of the person and their own lives. The diary's primary source is that we know Jews hid from Nazis due to persecution. Tragedy and Hope claims a vast amount of things to be true about the outside world, it isn't the day-to-day happenings of what Carroll Quigley is doing in his attic. When the diary of Anne Frank includes information about a world wide conspiracy of round tables and so forth, then I'll ask for her sources.
