Skeptic Project

This has made me start looking at quotes a lot differently. The quote that was in that dude's signature is all over the Internet...people can say that Rockefeller said something and then people, seeing quotation marks around it get this idea that he MUST have said it. It spreads and spreads. This thread prompted me to look up what other quotes are commonly misattributed to famous people. There are soo many of them.

I suppose that these things often start as either pranks or what people believe is "lying for a good cause".
