I slightly knew the "futurist" F.M. Esfandiary, who later changed his name to FM-2030, and I read several of his books and collected his articles over the years.

You might find some amusement in reading FM's vision, published back in 1981, of life in that mysterious, far-future year 2010, in his essay "Up-Wing Priorities":

BTW, you might notice that FM sounds like Jacque Fresco. Apparently FM and Fresco knew each other and probably gravitated together in the futurist subculture through "crank magnetism."

Well he was pretty much wrong about all of his 2010 predictions.

And he can take his dreams about "mating no longer being necessary" and piss right off.
