Paid Disinformation Blogger Level: 14 CS Original | Loathe. Arrogant asshole. His movies are shamelessly manipulative and not very entertaining. Plot of every Michael Moore film, regardless of subject: "I know everything, and I'm awesome." Roll credits.

Level: 4 CS Original | Capitalism: A Love Story is awesome. His other movies are kind of short-sighted, but this one is more all-encompassing. All his movies are mainly appeals to emotion, mixed in with some facts. They're generally entertaining, though, so I have mixed feelings about him. And Capitalism was really entertaining and emotional, in a good way. It was more like a movie than a documentary. Had a good flow and everything. Overall, love him.

Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | But Bowling For Columbine was not a documentary. It was an agenda piece. Or you could call it entertainment if you are feeling generous. I am not.

Level: 2 CS Original | I saw a documentary about some fans of Moore who did some research and found out some interesting things about his methods......... BTW IMO I thought Bowling For Columbine was stupid, especially the part about Canadians not locking their doors.(I'm Canadian that BS). He does a lot of things just for shock factor like when he pick on Dick Clarke cause an employee at a restaurant with his name on it kid died, common that was a low blow do you really think Dick Clarke had anything to do with that at all. Sicko wasn't too bad, I makes France look like a utopia, I should look into that.

Paid Disinformation Blogger Level: 14 CS Original | The whole thing in Fahrenheit 9/11 where he goes around badgering Congressmen about whether they'll send their kids to Iraq is ludicrous. I felt embarrassed for those Congressmen. Members of Congress have absolutely no power over the deployment assignments of individual servicepeople. It's like going to the British Parliament and dressing them down for not fixing the U.S. health care system.

Level: 0 CS Original | As far as my political stance goes, I agree with him more often than I disagree with him. And his movies and books are definitely thought-provoking at times, but we need to realize that they're ultimately just entertainment. What I dislike about him is that he gives a lot of half-truths, or implies things that aren't true (in Bowling for Columbine, he implies that the NRA had a rally in Flint, MI within 2 days of when the little girl was shot and killed there - it was months later, actually, and had nothing to do with the girl). And I *hate* *hate* *HATE* it when he ambushes people. I always cringe when he does that, and I usually end up feeling sorry for the person he ambushed, even when it's someone I don't like. It comes across like Moore knows what he's talking about and they don't, when in reality it's just that he's prepared for the encounter and they're not. It's one of the lowest forms of journalism, IMO. David

Level: 2 CS Original | I totally agree with what you just said, a lot of times I agree with his message at least to some degree then he goes over board to the point of almost discrediting his message.
