I pay about $5 a month for my GoDaddy service.

It's $14.99/mo for unlimited space and bandwidth at GoDaddy, so any bandwidth excuse I simply don't buy, especially not with ~17,000 page views and falling.

@Matt: I know you don't have to listen to me, nor do I think I have any right to demand your attention. I think you go way too far, and did especially in that VTV topic. But, that said, substantively you and I agree probably more often than any other regulars on this forum. If you were a CT you'd be a royal pain in the ass, so I'm glad you're a debunker.

Agreed on both counts.

I would hope he at least pays an accountant to advise him on how to do it and pay the least taxes on the whole process. TZM forums should really have an accountancy sub forum for this very reason to help us all save money!

Bandwidth is another question I was always asking about, as I notice the TZM forums are very graphically heavy and consume huge amounts of bandwidth for little actual content. (Something like 100 to 1 of graphics to text.) As such it wouldn't suprise me that they waste and thus cost themselves a fair bit on that front..

Also, aren't there movies N' shit people can download, that must eat into it too right ?

Still, a nice simple breakdown would easily sort out how much is spent on hosting, compared with Tanktops (And whoever else isn't mentioned..) wages.

What should happen is instead of every chapter paying for its own hosting, and own admin staff, there should be just one or two servers that everyone shares, then everyone can share the admin work, it will be half the total cost and less than half the work.
