Level: 4 CS Original | I would choose the know-nothings myself. There is something so annoying about people who think because they read Ron Paul it makes them a constitutional lawyer or an economist. My personal belief is the tea baggers is the new klan. In the 1920s the KKK was able to take control of the Indiana legislature using similar rhetoric, although they were more open about being racist.

Life's Too Short Level: 1 CS Original | I don't see any resemblance. And no, I'm not saying I'm a Tea Party supporter, but I think they have been unfairly labeled to an extent. I know many(Not one or 2, or even 3 or 4) but many people involved here in tea parties in Mass that are black, Hispanic, Portuguese, and Asian. Not to mention the Neo-con and Libertarian ideology keep a very strong split in the Tea Party. Which was a lot less common in the progressive democratic Klan members of the 20's, who also leaned more oppressive towards minorities.

Paid Disinformation Blogger Level: 14 CS Original | The KKK has something of a coherent ideology. The Tea Party does not. I don't think the Tea Party will survive past this (2010) election cycle. They MIGHT make it to 2012, if they catch a lot of breaks, but Obama's re-election will pretty much crush them.

Life's Too Short Level: 1 CS Original | As much as I would like to agree, I don't see them going out so soon. They have too many voices like Beck, Palin, and to some extent, Limbaugh, who will try to keep the engine moving with their ridiculous rhetoric. I do think they will shrink however, as the neo-cons continue to swallow up the Libertarians more and more each month. As for Obama's re-election, well that depends on how much faith you have in things getting marginally better. I have stated I have never voted in my life, for my own reasons. But if by 2012, the economy looks better, and there are no more troops in the Middle East, he'll get my first. And yes, I know it's a long shot.
