The series is basically a creative re-imagining of history, with loads of conspiracy theory jargon rolled into one seamless, entertaining package.

Discuss.

My favorite two video games.Love the little mini game that gives background into the artifacts ie the apple of eden effects on "history" played that for hours on end during last christmas.Loved the whole "gods were an advanced civilisation" concept though I am not a fan of Ancient Aliens theory and the history channel documentaries associated.Got into because I've had this idea for a fantasy video game swirling in my head for the last two years.

I read the plot synopsis a while ago, but I forgot a lot of it.

Assassin's Creed 1 Had a brilliant explanation for all the 'Devine' events described in ancient myths.

Okay the pieces of Eden were used all over the globe, and everyone used them to create *illusions*.

Jesus Christ was just a poor guy who lucky enough to find one to make everyone think he was holy.

I was like, OMFG!

And here goes the stry of the second game:Spoilers
Millenia ago a race of highly technologially advanced space aliens(simmilar appearence to humans - and with the names of many of the ancient deities - Mera,Uni etc.) arrived on earth and created the humans which rebelled when they became numerous out of jealosuy of the "Gods".The war ended when a solar flare destroyed most life on earth and both sides suffered huge casualties leading them to join forces and build temples around the world as a warning of future catastrophes to come and as a reminder. These include the egyptian temples,Chitchen Itza,Angor Wak etc.One of the new colonies created was Eden where humans were programmed to be subserviant by some of the gods however genetic mutations occured and some humans gained an immunity to the technology used to control them and thus rebbelled leading to Adam and Eve stealing the first peice of Eden, the Apple, from Eden, and escape Eden. Using their new found power, they go out on the earth, and populate.Although peace may have been an option between the two races, Adam and Eve's child, Cain, did not like the supremacy, in the new group of his Older brother Abel. He slew him, stole the peice of Eden, from Abel, and the Templars were born.
From then on the ongoing hidden battle between the two groups known as the Templars and the Assasins would begin with the mainly secular Templars taking the form of conqueres eg.Alexander the Great,Cleopatra,Atilla the Hun(killed by assassin members) etc while assasin members or supporters would include figures such as Tesla,Einstein,JFK,George Washington,Joan of Arc,Ghandi,Lincoln,Rasputin etc. with both sides using various artifacts from Eden - The "spear" of destiney sword the apple(essentially most of not all human wars have been engineered by both sides to cover their feuding up) etc. to gain power and influence.Essentially in the present day the Templars assume the role of the illuminati/NWO who plan to use a major space sattelite as a means of controlling the worlds population with a ray devised by the ancient aliens(on december 21st 2012 - no less) and kill off the remaining population that have an immunity ie assasins and assasin supporters.Essentially the templars believe in delivering "peace" and order through collectivism while assasins want it through retaining free will and individuality. Now with the solar flare fastly approaching again at around 2012 the theme of eternal reaccurance settles in with the templars now taking the role of the old Gods and the assassins, humanity.Well thats all I remeber.

That definitely sounds like something I'd see in a youtube video.

Can anyone find any links about conspiracy theorists discussing Assasins Creed 2 on youtube etc.Im suprised there are not that many mentions of it on prisonplanet or by Alex Jones about it being the NWO destroying christianity(since it does involve you assasinating the Pope).I have found some sites/forums where non CTr christians discuss it.
