Like what I mentioned in another post above, the more people become irresponsible and not mature on their own, and the more they allow authority to do so, it can lead to "everything" like a fascist state. That's the point of the hyperbole not to be dishonest or misleading

If the hyperbole is clarified with details behind it to note that it is something happening in a major way, don't you think the reader would know the "everything" term is not to be taking literally, but as language implicating a huge capacity?
