Well that could be said to be true, the way the government doesn't manage money worth a damn. But the whole concept of "taxation without representation" is "if we are going to be taxed, we must be represented in the government." Unfortunately this isn't include inept representation or government. So taxes are constitutional (so long as people still elect their representatives, which they do), no matter how insane the government becomes, in fact that's a whole different matter.

My mistake, I meant to say Section 8, I was thinking of representatives. But as Section 8 states: "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes"

In other words what Playdoh Plato is trying to say is, only listen to conspiracy theorists and don't challenge any evidence they provide. If anyone asks you for proof, just close your eyes and put your fingers in your ears and yell loudly "it's a conspiracy!" over and over, and eventually those pesky "skeptics" will go away.

I love how we start out talking about utopian ideals and the need for change, and then later on in the topic the conspiracy theorists unmask themselves and we eventually get to Godwin's law, premature ejaculation and prostate problems. It's amusing to me how conspiracists think that by using a Trojan Horse approach they will eventually get more traction once they start spewing their crap.

I don't even care about utopian ideals or a user-generated society or warmed over 70s gurus preaching sexual liberation or whatever these nimrods do. Find me something I can debunk. Exploding paint chips, lizard people, global warming denial, Jewish organ transplant rings...c'mon, work with me, people!

Further reading your write up on Zeitgeist, i have found you to be very hypocritical, especially this statement. Your agenda was to set out to debunk this movie, not to find the truth, there is a difference. You site various other websites and sources that are lacking in credentials. Do you research sources that agree with your views as much as you research movies such as Zeitgeist for which you disagree? Therefore your research is bias.

You're overtly judgmental and accusatory towards other people. The world isn't black and white, you're not either for the Venus Project or buying big screen TVs and driving around SUVs sipping lattes.

I think you need to get off your high horse and grow up a bit.

Which sources has he used that are 'lacking in credentials' and why? How would you rebut any point made using these sources? Please provide your own source when doing so.

Yeah, the Empire had to stop him before he founded the Jedi Order. Obviously Reich fucked up. He should have concentrated on destroying the Federal Reserve instead of building and selling his magic Orgone collectors.

Ron Paul would have supported Reich's freedom to practice quackery, however.

Reich could probably get away with his scam now by calling his boxes "Qi collectors" and tying them in with Chinese superstitions about health like feng shui.

Matt, although i do not know you, i think i know your type. In person, you are quiet, make little eye contact and are afraid to say what you truly believe in, so rather you go with the crowd. CTers go with their crowd. I need no crowd. So while you relish in the fact that your friends on this site back your views, therfore you gain testicular fortitude, and begin your bashing. Then you begin on Reich. I have read 1 of his books in full, started 2 others, looked up what many (not just one bias write-up) said about the man, and made my distinction. This "research" of Reich proves to me your incompetence, so i will no longer respond to you in any fashion. Edward still has my respect for creating, maintaining, and researching as un-biasly (if thats a word) as he can.

Look up "reichs cancer research" and how it is still used today,...or how some new scientist (cant get the name) theorizes a universal ether, which is another way of saying the same thing Reich said so many years ago, yet Reich was not well liked, and while his works are studied and used in research, are rarely if ever recognized.

Wilbur seems to like to make gross overgeneralizations of others, especially being inaccurate.

Let me give it a shot.

Wilbur, I know you're type. You're pretty sure you have all the answers. You're angry at the world, probably at your parents too. You're probably young, white, middle class, but think you understand how poor people feel. You like to view the world in black and white because it gives a sense of certainty and predictability, but causes your judgement of situations and others to suffer greatly and causes you to be ridiculed by some. You likely face a lot of rejection in life, from potential lovers, friends, etc largely because either your looks, ideas, or personality -- that's why you attempt to build character profiles on the weaknesses of others online, but you project your own fears upon them, instead of being remotely close to what's true about them.
