Yeh, it appears they have that one exclusive politician that is a kook type like them, but from my experience talking to CTs, some of them still even vote for one of the "puppets" as a lesser of two evils.

"I can go talk to the mayor almost any time, or see him in public. I can't do the same with the president, so it's eaier to think of him as a part of some super secret cabal instead of just a regular person.

I guarentee most CTs couldn't tell you the mayor's name, or even if the mayor is male or female."

Well that's true to a point, but I've met a few CTs who even believed local officials were out to get them. There used to be a state rep (state reps in my state only legislate three months out of the year) who owned a bicycle shop that had been in his family for generations and his wife was a math teacher. Seems pretty normal right? Wrong!!! According to the CTs, he had been a Rhodes Scholar, I have no idea if it's true but doubt it, who went Europe where he was recruited by them (CFR, Trilateral Commission, Satan) to turn our kids into something they never could explain. I mentioned that CT to another CT who actually knew the son of the state rep., but he couldn't believe it.

I also have heard CTs claim my state senator is evil because he went to Indiana University when Alfred Kinsey was conducting research which was funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. Therefore my state senator is bad news.

Of course I've met one county executive who played CTs and got them to vote for him and even campaign for him. He would tell them he thought Jesse Ventura was a genious and told him we needed our own Ventura-like governor. He didn't believe in what he was saying, but he certainly knew how to milk them to his advantage.

> It's easier to have crazy ideas about people you can't easily get in contact with.

Agreed.

A good reason for people in positions to make sure they spend a little time with joe public.

It would help Fresco for example to hang out on forums and chat with us..

After all, many politicans do that, and it sure helps to chat to them on a regular basis, even if its like banging your head against a brick wall at times, some do listen!

Its rather ironic, as this year, I got the chance to vote again, and went all out to find out who I should vote for. Not helped by many candiates not even having a website! and those that did, they hadn't updated for months or years.. Emails and phone calls went un-answered, door to door callers didn't put the effort in they once did..

And after all that, none of them appeared to agree on the key issues I had in mind! (One of which was, I wanted a power station built at the end of my road, we are going to start having brownouts in 2016, get real people! and I wanted more homes built locally, either that or I'm going to move away..)

And, after even that..

I found out I wasn't even on the list of being able to vote anymore, due to some 'mysterious' cockup we had both fallen off the list, so couldn't vote this year..

Mind you, those that could vote, wasn't that better off as they had understaffed the polling stations and some closed with queues still outside!

Not that our vote would have made much difference at the end of the day..

But then, if we all thought like that, what would change..

What it did show me was that the current crop of politicans is, often not very good, and if we put together a really good team, with decent policies, I reckon such a group could wipe the floor with the oppersition.

Still, at least the new lot in charge, seem the best of a bad bunch.

So yes, I think voting is good, kinda..

I don't understand why we're forced to pay taxes, yet we're not forced to vote.

Perhaps one solution is, vote and get a discount on your taxes ;-)
