CTers will speand endless amounts talking about how almost public officals work for the NWO. But whenever a election come along; "it is our last chance to take are country back". So witch way is it? Voting good or bad.

I would've been a fool to have voted for Paul in '08. A vote for Paul was a vote for Palin.

Outside of my county, in the next one over -- St. Clair County, Illinois, there was some rather strange voting several years ago. And it included:

+ Banning locker use -- to prevent hiding drugs, as if my anus won't also work.
+ Banning backpacks, except for kid who needed them for some reason, and those had to be clear -- to prevent school shootings, as if a school shooter cared for rules.
+ Banning of bracelets -- because they're a part of a game to make girls strip
+ Banning of Sponge Bob Shirts -- because they're gang related, I wish I was kidding
+ Requiring all students and staff to wear ID cards -- again to somehow magically prevent school shootings. I asked the principal over at the Junior High School in O'Fallon if a school shooter could just wear a badge and then mow down his class mates. He didn't appreciate that, but most of these ideas were his, he was a total idiot. Can you guess, he thought evolution was "pseudoscience."
+ There were some others, I can't remember them anymore.

This area has no history of violence either, while St. Louis and East St. Louis clearly do, there's about 1 murder every 10 years in O'Fallon where this stuff primarily took place.

They want less laws and less government only with certain things, they want absolute control with everything else.

This great hypocrisy is fairly well laid out in the book "What's the matter with Kansas?" I suggest to anyone interested in Midwestern idiocy to check it out. Essentially the far right used promises of getting rid of the gays and abortion to convince regular people life will improve if they surrender their previous populist positions to big business. Of course they've never delivered on getting rid of those fudge packers or baby killers, despite 30 years of promises. In fact the Midwest contains the #1 abortion providers in the US, notably the city of Wichita in Kansas, where despite large protests in the early 90s and bombings, and the election of far right, religious crazies, the abortions still are churned out. In fact it's fairly common, especially in Kansas and Nebraska, that the more right a county is, the more poor they are.

The least important election is for president, for two reasons 1) the president doesn't have as nearly as much power as people think he does 2) the electoral college does make many votes useless.

Find out who's running for sheriff, for school board, etc. and vote for who you think will do the best job, because it will make a difference, especially if you voice your opinion to others.

Local elections have far more effect on your life and your family's than who's president.

That's probably the best insight on voting I've read in years. Sad most people I talk to don't see this.

It's easier to have crazy ideas about people you can't easily get in contact with. I can go talk to the mayor almost any time, or see him in public. I can't do the same with the president, so it's eaier to think of him as a part of some super secret cabal instead of just a regular person.

I guarentee most CTs couldn't tell you the mayor's name, or even if the mayor is male or female. They like to think of themselves as more in the know than regular people, but more often than not, they actually know less about the real world than regular people.

Ron Paul isn't a puppet, according to them. That's why he stands against 434 puppets on many votes.
