"Perhaps because it requires minimal effort for VTV."

I suppose I can sort of understand that. But wouldn't the effort from trying to change the minds of people opposed to what you're pushing be more effort than simply choosing an organization that is friendlier to it?

There is also a Socialist Party and a Communist Party.

Probably the reason VTV is involved with this Boston Tea Party is because he was a member of it back when he believed in that ideology, before he converted to Zeitgeistology. He probably sees this as a way to win something against his former peers, we know that he likes to argue with everyone and prove everyone wrong. It would make sense for the ZM to be involved with the green party only if they were interested in working on something. They aren't. I think if the Green Party, for example, was willing to work with TZM, nothing would come from it. Why get involved with politics when you can blog about Resource Based Economies™ and how the government sucks? They are only interested in arguing with people and calling everyone sheeple. Notice how many people are joining the BTP solely for the reson to stick up for the Venus Project and VTV? Most of the Zeitgeisters don't seem to care about this Tea Party thing, except to prove the other members wrong about the Venus Project and win the election. It's just a keyboard-warrior online battle. That's all there is to it.

"He probably sees this as a way to win something against his former peers, we know that he likes to argue with everyone and be right."

Oh snap. This is an angle I had not considered.

Well played, Sky.

Now it makes more sense. I was racking my brain trying to figure out how this was good for TVP. I now realize that isn't the point in the first place. Its about what is good for VTV.

Again, well played. This had not occurred to me.

That floored me. The answer was right in front of us. Missed the forest for the trees.

Thanks Sky. I hate it when things don't make sense.

> we know that he likes to argue with everyone and prove everyone wrong.

Not quite 100%, sometimes he is nothing like that, but it does rather appear rare, still, I think there could be hope that at some point, we might see more of that.

Though, because of his environment (How ironic!) and him being surrounded by all the wrong sort of people who are bad for him, on the whole it just makes his situation worse.

He might change given a decade or two, learn N all that.

I get the vague impression he might just want to be in charge of something, if he just ran the logistics of say the Fresco home energy project, and wasn't a moderator on the forum, and we only heard him as a guest on someone else's radio show, I think it would be a good use of his talents and keep him out of trouble, aka make him a productive member of society and help the rest of us.

Maybe they really do not have any political idealigy. Take both the Zeitgeist movies for example; both were in some ways idealigy opposed. As some of you guys have pointed out they jumped from Ron Paul to TVP. They just might change thier political ideas in much the same way as other 15-25 year olds change thier music prevrance.

Thats my point. Take a look at thier leader. All he really did was cut and past other ducumentries (word used loosly) to make his. Just ask yourselves will TVP still be apart of TZM after the next film.

>> By definition, I think TVP is an anarchist concept. Maybe it's more anarcho-socialist than pure anarchy.

Anarchism is socialist (except for when Objectivists and Libertarians redefine it, but that's really only common in America, not anywhere else) and it's also democratic. TVP is more technocratic, meaning that instead of the will of the community being organized based around what they feel would be best (direct democracy) decisions are left up to either technicians, Peter Joseph, or computers.

--

On this radio show, who is this whiny guy? Dear god his voice is more annoying than Mark Levin. Is there a connection between libertarianism and a weak voice?

--

Went from a guy whining to a guy that sounds like Gary Busey. This guy's criticism of FRS makes more sense than just opposing it for some weird conspiratorial reason.

Both the BTP and TZM seem to have delusions of grandeur when it comes to things like "if they are fighting this hard for X, then that must mean we're super awesome and powerful!"

OK but that is the problem that is what I found with CTers. A lot of their beliefs really do not go together.
