Paid Disinformation Blogger Level: 14 CS Original | Brenton, why will you still not answer any of the contentions made here regarding the conspiracy aspects of the Zeitgeist movement? You brush it away with "that has nothing to do with anything." Kind of like how Scientologists brush off criticisms of the Xenu stories claiming "that's not really Scientology." Um, yeah, it sort of is. If conspiracy theories have nothing to do with the Venus Project or the Zeitgeist Movement, how come the Zeitgeist Movement shares the same name with a film that almost all viewers recognize immediately as a conspiracy film? I mean, seriously, you don't hear people say, "Oh, Zeitgeist, those were those movies about that Venus project thing." What you do hear is, "Oh, Zeitgeist...yeah, I learned from that movie that Jesus doesn't exist, 9/11 was an inside job and Jewish bankers control the world." How do you explain this, and how come Mercorla or whatever his name really is continues to push these theories through his movies?

Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | I think Brenton is unwilling to totally disregard the first movie because it appeals to his prejudices. Especially the first part. Will be interesting to see if he responds to that honestly or not.

Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | "Too bad for you that I'm incredibly sympathetic to Christianity." I think you're incredibly sympathetic towards Christianity's ideals, but I don't believe you're sympathetic towards Christians at all. I've read a few posts of yours that give a much different impression than your reply.

Paid Disinformation Blogger Level: 14 CS Original | Ah, at last, a rare morsel of honesty from Brenton! "Because the name 'Zeitgeist' is now incredibly powerful and attracts a large audience." And why is that? Because Zeitgeist made its notoriety entirely on its conspiracy allegations! Nobody who watched that movie gave a shit about resource based economy or the Venus Project. Everyone remembered the movie because it was a conspiracy movie. This merely proves my point that Mercola uses conspiracy theories as a recruiting tool, and you and the other Venus apologists are more than happy to continue doing so because it increases your visibility. "He hasn't made a conspiracy film since ZI, so I don't know what you're talking about." Oh, but didn't you say in another topic, direct quote: Declare the POSSIBILITY of 9/11 "having criminal elements involved in it" as "highly possible?" Sow's ear on a pig? Fig leaf on Goatse? Explain to me how this is not perpetuating the conspiracy theory that 9/11 was an inside job. (I also point out that in the same topic you mention "false flags," a classic conspiracist buzzword). You have hinted that you disbelieve conspiracy theories, but you've never actually stated it. Why don't you address the topic specifically? What do you personally believe happened on 9/11, and what do you think that Mercorla believes happened on 9/11? You seem to know him so well, you must know.

Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | Oh whatever, are you really going to try to claim that? There were a number of times where I had to stop myself from telling you to quit being such a sissy when you were crying about being attacked. I was very careful with my language towards you. You can kiss my ass Brenton. You know how many American liberals are willing to talk about homophobia in the black and Hispanic communities? Not very damn many. Real easy to talk about gay rights in ZM echo chamber, go tell people to share civil rights and then come accuse me of homophobia. You asshole.
