This guy is very creative. It reminds me of the passion and motivation seen within the religion movements. Some amazing creativity comes from such foolishness.

On a serious note, I don't really know the story about that Ernst Zundel fellow... and I'm sure there's more to his imprisonments than what Rense would show on his site, but I will say that regardless of the reason for his imprisonment, it is just a good example of how government involvement in debunking (lashing out at conspiracy theories, in other words) and stuff like that just does more harm than good. I can only imagine how many people were "won over" by the "truth does not fear investigation" line.

Yeah, I'm not saying that his claims, or the claims of "Omg Zionists stole my free speech!" are true, but just the fact that holocaust denial is illegal in Germany (and with good reason, given the historical circumstances) probably serves as a big recruiting tool for holocaust deniers.

Some of the charges were more specific, namely "publishing literature which is likely to incite hatred against an identifiable group" and "inciting hatred".

I didn't find any of them funny.
