Also the chapter has a Flickr [ http://www.flickr.com/groups/1467756@N22/ ]group where members can post snapshots from Second Life and document meetings, discussions, presentations etc.

We are making progress with the Virtual Worlds Chapter land in Second Life. We have posted a couple of photos online to show what is being worked on.

The build process has finally begun on a virtual meeting and info area in Second Life. The build will take up to a few weeks to complete. Once it is done,there will be a spacious meeting area, along with educational materials related to the movement. We will be scheduling meetings and activism events once everything is up and running.

The Virtual Worlds Chapter has acquired virtual land in Second Life. The building process will begin within a week or two depending on how many members get involved. There will be a main information center, along with an area for meetings and discussions. There will also be a viewing area for videos relevant to the Zeitgeist Movement. Currently we have a basic information area with signs, informational note cards, activism materials, and instructions on how to join the Second Life ZM group.

One of my friends' wives played it for awhile. When she went out of the room I got on the computer and sent her to a porn room and stuck her in a bukkake spot. She came back to guys beating off on her. I laughed so hard I peed a little. She was pretty mad.

Don't they mean to say:

"The Virtual Worlds Chapter is paying rent forever for virtual land in Second Life..."

The cheap solution would be to run their own second life server, as did NET for a while, then you won't have to pay rent..

If only they would figure out ways to do things that either cost them less, or make money into the bargain, the more they could spread the word and stop wasting their money! (Eg. I don't see how your going to fix the world if you keep throwing your money away on things like plane tickets to meetings/etc..)
