I don't have a problem with people knowing my name, but just like Muertos this just happens to be my handle on the internet since when I was a wee lad.

I'm fairly unoriginal, using my name. This is the first time in years I've had a handle, and I only use it to make fun of those retards over at Free Thought Circle Jerk who thought calling me "Captain Ferseus" because of a typo, would somehow one up me.

I'm getting really sick of this guy.

All he ever wants to talk about is how labeling conspiracy theorists as conspiracy theorists is unfair. Absolutely ZERO substantive argument. And he keeps vacillating between denying he's a conspiracy theorist, and admitting that he is but that it's OK for him to be one.

We have officially been endorsed by a conspiracy theorist!

John Smith wrote this:

i dont have a problem with the arguments or evidence, just noting that they have stupid articles presenting them, for the most part, and i wouldnt read any more of that crap given the chance.

So he's admitting that the site is factually correct and the arguments are logically constructed. What, then, does he have a problem with? The articles are "stupid."

Okay, then!

His whole problem with this site is really retarded. Basically "I agree with it, or something... but I don't like the way it's written, so it's stupid! Also, check out these youtube links that prove you're wrong."

Sil, it's obvious what his problem with the site is. He is a conspiracy theorist and he doesn't like that we tear down conspiracy theories.

For weeks he's been playing games with argument tactics and semantics, carefully positing conclusions and impressions without coming out and stating them and then claiming that he doesn't agree with the conclusions or even advance what they lead to. His latest tack is pretending to be "agnostic" about conspiracy theories which have been specifically disproven. I just called him out on it, but I'm sure he'll worm and squirm a bit more before he crumples his tinfoil hat and decides to go home.

He's not specifically a Zeitgeister, but for the record, pretending to be agnostic on CTs is #4 on the Official List of Zeitgeist Canned Responses.

"I have not adopted a position of agnosticism, that would be conclusive."

Oh boy.

this shit just got silly-

"this site is very funny to me, i'm nothing like what you've surmised from my responses or people telling you what they think im like, if some of the people i invited to this group have been talking to you(one of them is a nazi, lol)."

I don't understand why he doesn't just post on the actual site, if the whole name thing bothers him.

Maybe it's because the kids think Facebook is cool, whereas an obscure forum is not.

What is the origin of the "Don't Tread On Me" flag that Bingham is using as his FB icon? (I know the historical origin of the flag obviously, but I'm curious where its use by conspiracy theorists began--is it an Alex Jones thing?)

Another Truther on the "9/11 Conspiracy Theories are BS" group uses that same avatar. Since CTs are incapable of original independent thought I surmise that the icon must come from some well-known CT source.

Figures. Bingham's a Birther and a global warming denier, so it stands to reason he's a right winger.

Did you guys get rid of him finally? I'm sure he'll say it was censorship and not just because all he did was spam links and never followed up on any discussion.

I haven't been on Facebook since early this morning so if he got booted today I don't know about it. So far as I know, he was up to his old tricks as recently as a few days ago.

I just noticed all of his wall posts were gone. (Not comments, just original posts) I assumed it was because if you kicked someone it would auto-delete the posts. Or maybe he went through and manually deleted them.

Probably the latter. Don't know for sure, though. I certainly didn't boot him. He annoys me, but that's not ban-worthy.

He didn't get banned but when I told him that its pointless to hide behind his pseudonym he got frustrated and started deleting all his old posts on the group. Kid cares way too much if people think he's stupid. But at this point he's clearly thinking in an assbackward fashion
