Burger King's Twitter account hacked and turned into McDonald's [Updates]

In honor of President's Day, what's more American than a little manufactured kerfuffle between two of the country's top fast food burger joints? Oddly coinciding with Carla Marinucci's piece on PR disasters in a social media world, Burger King's Twitter feed (@BurgerKing) was hacked by someone (who appear to be associated with Anonymous) and converted into a McDonald's feed: "Just got sold to Mcdonalds because the whopper flopped." It's been an hour into the stunt, and the real Burger King hasn't responded or regained control yet, though in that time period the Twitter account has gained 20K followers, and counting. [Update: Account suspended. See update below!]
