The CT's are going to say that this is the reason "they" did 9/11. In fact, I predict this will replace the long-debunked "Central Asian pipeline" motive as the reason why 9/11 was rigged.

Of course it only took "them" 9 years to discover it!

Im sure it will, but the fact this took so long will just make them look desperate

Truthers won't see that, Ed. If they even do pay any attention to the 9-year gap between the invasion of Afghanistan and the discovery of mineral deposits, they'll claim it was intentionally delayed so as to convince everyone that 9/11 was not done as a ploy to get ahold of Afghanistan's mineral wealth!

Im sure they will act that way, but its easy to make them look stupid to others if they use such silly arguments :)

I can't wait until Peter Joseph's new 911 conspiracy film to come out with his expensive team of crack researchers to provide lulz for all of us. I wonder how many times David Ray Griffin, Steven Jones and Richard Gage get referred to as expert sources.

You know guys, my grandmother is an expert source about knitting. She told me the fabric of society is unraveling, so it's true.

If the U.S. is still in Afghanistan years after this report, and you hear about Company X from the U.S. benefiting from these mineral deposits, I can see CTs adding this to their spin zone when it comes to 9-11.

The Soviets knew about those mineral deposits, and the old Soviet geographic surveys were what we used to "find" them.

"The Soviets knew about those mineral deposits, and the old Soviet geographic surveys were what we used to "find" them."

Exactly.

Even Stratfor featured it as "new" information, I'm getting kinda desperate when it comes to reliable news. Bullshit everywhere, and it's not even the funny one (like most CTs are).

From what I understand, the mineral deposits in question are much more useful today than they were when discovered by the Soviets.

That might be why the survey information was left on the back burner for so long. We're finally reaching a point where those particular minerals have enough commercial use to warrant excavation.

Stupid.

The war in Afghanistan doesn't get nearly the attention needed to suspect the timing of the release of this information. If anything, I would wonder if they sat on it to wait for the minerals in question to become more commercially valuable.

"The conclusion remains clear. The idea that Afghanistan’s mineral riches were not part of the invasion and occupation agenda, drawn up before 9/11, and have suddenly been discovered, is provably false."

They have now moved the goalposts off into la-la land.

This Steve Watson guy is a fucking tard.
