Brainwashing you for money

I read this and just about keeled over from laughter:

I don't want to be rude but I met a few people in my local Zeitgeist movement and the moment I got there I thought “geeks”. I think a couple of them were pretty intelligent, a couple had poor social skills, maybe one was a virgin and another was a definite loser in many ways.

Now I can tell Peter Joseph is an all round guy and he is doing what he does out of choice, but I got the feeling some of these people were only there because this is what their lives have dealt them and they were always looking for something to save them.

I came across TZM by chance and I thought it was a great idea, but when I met these people I was very much put off.

I think personally, when I see people in professional jobs or just people who I can relate to going to meetings, then I will be happy to be an actual activist but until then I would rather just keep informed but not get involved.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Yes !! I do not just feel this way I know it to be fact

Someone then replied

"Geeks shall inherit the earth."
says the scientific method.

haha Willing to bet on that one son ?
I am willing to bet a geek is gonna get a beat down everytime.

Other replies:

My girlfriend just walked in the room, saw me typing and said. “Are you back into Zeitgeist again?” and then walked off saying “weirdo”

He is still typing and not listening to what she is actually saying to him, she is telling him he's a loser he ain't getting none and that she is going to dump him soon.

And last but not least TZM's main troll pipes up [yes of course VTV] And proceeds to reply to everyone in the threads posts as if they asked his opinion and it actually counted. Seeing that VTV is nothing but a lard arse who does nothing but trip on TVP every second of the day with nothing else in his life.

Wow...

If you honestly understood this direction and what it was about you would not be judging people on the basis of their "professional jobs" or calling people "losers". You would understand that all people are products of their environment. And you wouldn't be deciding on your participation based on these sorts of crude judgments.

I think it would be best that you do some serious reading. It's obvious you have a lot of work to do on yourself. This is not meant to be offensive, but these sorts of harsh judgments most of us outgrow in high school.

The whole environment thing starts to piss me off.

I've lived in a shitty environment for some time, but I've managed to read Drucker, Kennedy, Graham, that kind of stuff instead of playing WoW or watching fucking Dr. Phil all day.

Point is - if you are the kind of "geek" that doesn't achieve anything he wants to, it might be because of a lack of decisiveness, courage, strategy and "balls"...an attitude that kinda make the whole RBE thing quite more attractive*.

I partially agree with VTVs last post, you don't have to buy shiny stuff to have an awesome life, but personally...I'd rather die now than subscribe to the doctrine that I have to be a loser or geek because the environment is so bad.

*to live in it, of course, not to build it

VTV does not understand the mind of a non geek being that he is a huge huge geek.

He has been bullied and laughed at his whole life I am willing to bet. I mean take a look at him ffs, he is the blueprint for an aging geek who has not yet learnt how to fully function in society.

It's just sad you would think he would of grown up out of that "I was bullied at school please stop its not nice" Bullcrap.

The geeks could achieve so much if they cooperated and organised themselves.

Many of todays wealthy folk are yesterdays hippies who learn't this years ago..

>>"Im reminded of a movie, "The New Guy".

Hilarious... watch it."

TZM has bad taste in movies too, sandwiched right in between Z1 and Z2.

>>"ps great insight fromm sharkie and hellgorama you guys rock i wish i could fit you guys in my pocket and throw you at the closeminded fools of my family."

Don't we hear this a lot from them? "Man, if only I could get my mom to understand!".

I have to say that I for one could not think of a way to do anything malicious towards VTV mainly for the fact that the guy is on the bottom to begin with. I mean if I were to do anything bad to VTV I'd get at his WoW account and delete all of his characters and then at that I'd be taking the only joy he has in life besides if I were to buy the Venus Project property which I have considered doing because I have the means to do so and keeping VTV on as as the spoke person for the "Penis Project" (paid of course).

VTV is just a overweight manchild. He is a complete dumbass, who similarly like Peter Merola hates and criticizes people with credentials that disagree with the zeitcult movement, UNLIKE Peter Merola I do not think VTV qualifies as a Sudo intellectual for the fact to my knowledge the guy never step foot into a college and well yeah he's not a bright bulb... I suppose the only PHD VTV will ever get is the imaginary one, that also happens to be next to him being dragon slayer as well...

VTV you are fat and you no longer are being funded by burger king money since your wife is divorcing you. I can't wait till YOU YES YOU VTV have to find a JOBBBBBB. Just because VTV is a manchild the tax payer will have to pay for him because more than likely he's going to refuse to find a job and use the excuse that he believes in the venus project and it's a resource based economy; VTV does not believe in money, but he does believe in aliens and I worships the devil. *Billll flips over a desk* Why does VTV need the venus project he's already living in a Utopia and soon to come in a few months free healthcare...

VTV since your legally married well now getting a legal divorce, I wonder if you'll pay the alimony towards what you owe your wife. I wonder if you'll pay your child support O_o I really hope your not going to run to another state like the coward you are and ultimately become a criminal but EVEN worse a wife beater who is also a dead beat dad as well!

"Have you ever noticed that these "geeky" personalities also usually happen to be the smart people?" - VTV

You know those words of various spiritual masters, when they talk about people removing the plank in their own eye before they point out that others have raging planks? Neil could learn from the implications of those sorts of teachings.

I've come to find that criticism of individuals in the sense of using that as a way to hope to change them...is just atrocious. It always becomes about exerting your own ego. VTV here, as an perfect example.

This Webby dude gets it. Social movements that do not create a sense of community and connection are not social movements at all - they are fan (or geek, rather) clubs.
