Did you even get a chance to start discussing anything or did they ban you outright?

Why was your IP blocked you did nothing over there that broke any rules?

To quote admin
"The Qs will always change. Knowing the answers after you fail is not the point. It isn't about learning/agreeing - it is about proving you read the materials."

Are they considering the fact you provided answers to questions as breaking rules?
Which they themselves make the answers available might I add in their materials.

If they have provided the questions and the answers then all you are doing is giving them the shortcuts to the answers and they can read the materials at their own leisure.
And if the questions are going to change regularly you havent made any damage or impact since the answers wont mean anything in the long run.

All you are doing IMO is providing people the means of assessing what they get wrong.

Also they are locking threads discussing the test and asking their members to shut up talking about it:

Hahaha, some of the stuff in those topics is priceless.

But please consider how this looks? This whole incident is making us look very bad. It makes us look hypocritical, untransparent, and some responses even come across as unaccountable.

Gee, ya think?

Naturally this is going to upset people. And what will the Alex Jones's of the world say?

Never mind the Alex Joneses, what about the Edward Winstons, Sean Mungers and Aaron Hatches!

People are already posting negative material about this very incident on other websites.

Yayyy, we got mentioned again! I get all oogy in my pants when the Zeitgeisters mention us, even obliquely.

Merola's response:

You have no position/experience to request or demand anything from this site, myself or the mods.

Somehow I am imagining these words being said by a big booming voice coming from a huge floating stone head, like in Zardoz.

If this movement fails it will be under the weight of our own naiveite and inability to communicate with the body public.

Well yes, that and the fact that you're conspiracy nutbars!

"Also - New Qs will be constantly added until there are 100s of them so the trolls can work all they want"

Building a chinese wall to defend yourself against 15 mongolian, great plan.

It's like marketing folks trying to lower the refund ratio by 1%, so they don't lose ten sales, instead of raising their conversion by 1% so they get 100 new sales.

I think a test is a good idea, but it should be based on clear & simple concepts, not arbitrary quotes and phrases...and if they collect more than 100, their time management is worse than mine, and that's nothing to be proud of.

I'm going to guess my IP was blocked so that I can't look at the test or their materials anymore.

I find it funny how they think I'm a loser for taking the time to make a cheat sheet. To combat this, they plan on taking the time to compile hundreds of more questions. Not only is this rather ironic, but it's idiotic. Do you want to know why? Here's the answer:

Imagine the test maker perusing their materials, looking for good quiz questions. "Oh, here's a cool quote, let's see if they can figure this one out!" Then the test takers get to this question and Google the answer or merely do a search of the materials for the answer, all taking less than a minute. You don't have to read the materials to get the answers. You only have to open them up and search for the answers.

Some guy is going to spend hours creating hundreds of questions, and people will spend a few minutes searching for them.

The logic is not there. If anything, all of their testable material should be video presentation. That way, it fulfills CTers' desires to watch youtube videos, and it forces you sit and listen rather than hit the search button.

I tried Billlls exploit and he is correct.

I was answering incorrectly 5 questions and it was giving me 5/20 right.

I then did the same random answers with all 20 and it gave me 2/20

great test they have there.

So good I have to quote it

Peter Joseph Merola says:

Does anyone actually give a shit about RBE? Is this all people can grasp- The test controversy?

I have paid out over $15,000 for this website thus far in a attempt to create a focused community environment for people who agree with the direction.

Here is the deal: You don't like the test? Then there are two other options:
1) I take the entire forum down
2) I charge 50.00 a month for access to bypass trolls and so I can actually pay 3 times as many moderators to deal with the perpetual bullshit.

""While I agree that this is a mod issue, obviously it has spiraled into something larger. While perhaps it should not 'seem relevant' to me, but it does strike many of us as hypocritical.
(And again, please consider how your response comes off, particularly the bolded part)""

I find it incredible how people (not you, but in general)who have done NOTHING. Contribute NOTHING. Learn NOTHING- come on here and then make demands on myself and the site, as though they deserve something, as though they have a position to complain.

I come off as hypocritical? I am doing the best I can. You want a noisy crap forum? Than I can pull the test. Shit- I'll pull the mods as well. how about that? Then I will remove account regs in general and just let any internet surfer pop on the site and post their ignorant slander.
Sound good?

Sounds good to me, Merola. I'm actually experimenting with a forum design for my site that will have democratic moderation. The majority of members would sound off on decisions.

I love how they have such heavy moderation of rules on a site advocating the dismantling of government.

Isn't the "reputation system" a form of democratic modding? Everyone just down votes the people they believe are trolls, and then the 'trolls' posts are hidden by default, but can be revealed if the viewers wants to see them. But hey, I guess the only other options are to take down the site or take down the test and then charge 50.00 of useless paper money to make sure there are enough mods? Just shows how incapable Peter and the rest of TZM are of coming up with solutions to things.

He also mentions that he would have to have 3 times as more money to pay the moderators, do the moderators get paid now?

From one of those locked topics:

Another group of people who hate the test are the trolls on the ConspiracyScience forum. They have a whole thread devoted to how they want to create a cheat sheet to pass the test so they can make their own sock puppet accounts.

What are you talking about, VTV? We LOVE the test! It's provided me at least with an afternoon of entertainment, which is great considering the Mythbusters on Science Channel this afternoon was one I'd already seen.

Haha, and I liked Merola's rant too. If he charged $50 access for the forums, wouldn't his army of 400,000 Zeitgeist sycophants dwindle to about six or so?

I don't know why they worry about us sock puppeting them. Why bother? Every word we write on this forum is read by ZM higher-ups and probably a lot of rank and file members, if not Merola himself.

To P.J. Merola: the hijackers are NOT still alive! There. I don't need to sock puppet them.

Mine also got blocked.. (Is a ban not enough then..)

You know, charging is actually a good idea..

$50 is far too much, I reckon you could get away with just $1..

It works elsewhere just fine to keep out 'troublemakers'..

And I reckon if he paid the mods, he would sack the useless ones and get some better ones in.. (well, he did have some better ones before they left..)

> come on here and then make demands on myself and the site, as though they
> deserve something, as though they have a position to complain.

Ah, now it all makes sense!

He actually thinks the users aren't important..

You know, when I was in management, I met managers who thought workers wasn't important to listen to, and you know what, they are the majority thing to listen to!

Users, customers, workers, you must listen to them!

You must do your best to serve them...

Like Muertos said sock puppets are not even needed they read here anyway to see whats happening, you could literally debunk everything they said here and someone would relay it back to their idiot leadership.

Joseph Matthew is a prime example of that, that is all he does for zeitgeist. He hunts down fresh posts talking about it and posts them for their forum to send emissaries out to argue.

Plus you can easily view their forum without ever posting. [But i suppose IP bans are pretty extreme and need a work around]
