Seems like people think the death of a black guy at the hands of the police is excuse to run around like a fucking lunatic, stealing shit and setting stuff on fire.

Thoughts?

I would gladly exercise my 2nd Amendment rights in the face of a riot heading toward my home.

Supposed ties to Murdoch, is a vast understatement at the moment, though it didn't win him the election, the coalition did, the riots first started as a protest, numerous questions were asked about the killing of this man, what started from a protest turned into a riot, which usually happens.

But the riots that happend in England were due to material, rather than answers.
It's a horrible event which happend here, that other countries endure everyday, but it happens to a (well it's supposed to be) well estalblished western contry, it turns the whole situation, the other way round.

Though the riots happend no where near me, the stories from my friends seemed true, several of my friends were from the original areas of the riot, the reason of these riots were not revolutionary, but rather, 'Showing the rich that we should have anything we want', as said by a female rioter.

Nothing from this riot was justified, it was simply in the end, thiefs stealing what they could not afford otherwise, and the police brutality which apllies even here, were not answered, though evidence applies is that the man who was killed had a gun, all the riots seemed to be of greed, and not wanting answers.

Is there something happening in the UK? Kidding, but it seriously haven't been covered here that I've seen, at all. And I watch a lot of TV news.

These people don't want answers, they want an excuse to act like low life scum.

Bingo! My father always said of the LA riots, "if they were that upset at the establishment and not just interested in breaking shit, they would've went to Rodeo Drive and destroyed everything, instead of burning down their own neighborhoods."
