Regarding dystopian novels and depopulation, I wonder why more people don't pick up on the fact that Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" portrays a massive Malthusian die off as part of Rand's fantasy to remove all the people from the planet she finds philosophically undesirable. Could Rand's fans, who probably overlap with Alex Jones's to some extent, overlook her depopulation idea because she advocated it as part of a rescue plan for capitalism?
