So apparently the singer died today.

I have to admit, I never really cared for her music, nor do I think her passing was surprising considering her record.

I'm pretty sure Amy Winehouse very deliberately made her influences known, the lyrics often had references to them. There's a huge difference between creative theft and creative influence.

Toxicology reports are not in yet and wont be for a few weeks, but Winehouses dad is trying to convince everyone she died from wait for it....Abstinance from Alcohol. Thats right at her funeral he is reported to have said she went into shock and died from quitting alcohol.

Drs have said this is not right and the singer would not have simply died instantly like she did unexpectedly, there would have been many indicators and events that would have led up to her death that people would have noticed prior, including Winehouse herself had she been going into encephalopathic shock.

So while we wait for the actual toxicological reports due to the post mortem examination not showing the cause, people are trying to claim they know what caused it already.

The most obvious cause of death is her ritual daily life of drink and drugs, but hey thats likely what the toxicology report will show.
