Life's Too Short

Well, I basically did an intro in my e-mail to the site, so I'll re-post it for an intro with slight changes:

--Hello! Geno, here. I'm a mid 30's screenwriter/medical worker who's always been fascinated not only by conspiracies, but the debunking and false information as well. As a writer, the discussions on these subjects I have always found to be food for the mind. While I do not believe in most conspiracies, I have always prided myself on being open minded to all arguments(I'm a fiend for knowledge). I consider myself a social libertarian, and I don't believe in telling others how to think or what to believe, but rather chime in. I also come from a complex background with family involved in military, police, politics, computer science, and medicine. Also, growing up half black, and half white has always kept my eyes open to the world in front of me.--

My basic views to sum up some things:

On Conspiracies: I don't believe in most of them(9/11, NWO, The moon is made of cheese, etc.) as I feel most go against common sense and logic. At the same time I am not ignorant, and know that this world is messed up, and some people do have an agenda out there. When it comes to looking into them, I mostly use math/chance and logic/motive(besides the usual evidence). However, I hold this as opinion and opinion only. I do not like to force my beliefs on others, and I don't look down on CT'ers. To me they are nothing more then normal people with a different point of view.

My father(Who is a computer engineer and I idolize) always told me to question everything. And in the world we live in(as well as math) numbers are endless, thus there is always possibility. And possibility will always lead to inevitability.

I also share the same views on religion. I guess you can call me an agnostic/naturalist. While I do not believe in a god(In the sense of an invisible man in the sky) I do believe in life/energy and the natural selection of the universe. I guess that would be my idea of what "god" would be. Thus I don't hold anyone's religious views against them, as I believe people are free to believe in whatever they want, as long as they don't try to impose it on others(religious radicals or progressive atheists would fall in this category.)

As for politics, as I stated before: According to the political compass, you can call me a social libertarian. I do believe in total freedom(Within reason.)

I'm trying not to write a novel here, so I will stop. But thanks for having me, and I look forward to hoping in on some discussion!

No, but the NWO IS real.

I watched them run wild in WCW for like 4 years :)

We will dominate this forum soon Genogza, and after that we will take over the world. Another "CT'er" here but for some reason I'm working to debunk myself right now. Though at this point I'm thinking "fuck it" and just focus on libertarianism and local activism. I just enjoy the theories, I can't help myself. The dot's are there, if only I could draw a staight line in the dark I would be happy.

I don't think Genogza is a CT'er, but welcome aboard either way!

No_Heros, what type of libertarianism would you focus on? The original form or the contemporary version?
