A Tennessee woman landed in jail after allegedly yelling at Transportation Security Administration officers and refusing to allow her daughter to go through a full-body scanner and a pat-down search.

According to a report in the Tennessean, Andrea Fornella Abbott shouted and cursed at TSA workers at Nashville International Airport on Saturday. Abbott said she didn't want her daughter's "crotch grabbed," the paper reported, citing a police report.

The 41-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct. She has since been released on bond.

Abbott and her daughter were flying from Nashville to Baltimore.

The TSA has been dealing with public outrage after recent, well-publicized pat-down incidents, including:

A 95-year-old woman in the final stages of leukemia had to remove her adult diaper in order to pass through security and catch her flight;
A video of a 6-year-old receiving an enhanced pat-down by a TSA agent in New Orleans became a viral sensation after being posted on YouTube.
Last month, the TSA announced changes in the way it searches young kids. John Pistole, the agency's leader, said agents will repeatedly attempt to have children screened, in order to keep pat-downs to a minimum.
