I have notice that quit of view prominent CTers are also ether involved with or have been involved in a Third Party. Such as:
Ron Paul ran for President as a Libertarian in the 80’ and gave support to 2008 Constitution Party candidate Chuck Balwin.
Chuck Balwin is a 9/11 truther and a NWO CT believer.
Jessie Ventura was a member of the Reform Party when he was a governor.
Before becoming a New Age Guru and CT nut David Icke was leader in the Green Party over in the UK.
I know that most people involved in Third Party politics most likely do not believe in CTs but do you think that Third Parties may be fertile ground for CT thinking?

Being surrounded by too much woo, fringe mentalities and wrong information will send you on a downward spiral away from reality and hurtling towards insanity without brakes. It is therefore the reason why a lot of save the world types and down with government types tend to end up being affiliated with some kind of nutball ideology as they all hang around the same acid spiked water sources.

I think third parties are more likely to attract cranks because third parties usually appeal to ideological purists.
