One of my favorite artists was booked to play a ceremony/gala for Jewish Heritage Month at the White House yesterday. While reading up on the press releases to try and see if I could find her set list or anything, I stumbled on to the Haaretz site. Now the article didn't have what I was looking for, and simply described the event and other people that would be in attendance... but I noticed that there were a lot of comments along the lines of "LOL and jews say they dont control the US government", etc.

I mean, if there was (and I'm sure there was) some sort of White House event for Black History month, or even the NAACP... I doubt CT'ers would be saying "LOL and they say blacks don't control the US government".

Haaretz is an Israeli newspaper, so it got me thinking. Do conspiracy theories have as big a hold in Israel as they do here in the United States? Were these people from other countries just trolling an Israeli newspaper? Here in the US, most CT's are based on Evangelical/Militia beliefs, and it's spread to other parts of the world for sure... and there are of course CT'ers found all over the place.

But culturally, I've heard that Israel is quite similar to the US (could be wrong)... so anyone know how the CT world is over there, especially since so many CT's revolve around their country as well? Even though they may be similar, they don't have the Evangelical/Militia background as far as I know.
