Yes and because at face value it's just stupid. I've been listening to the "OMFG 1984 IS HERE!" people since the early 1980s and they've never even come remotely close to being right. Even in North Korea they can't execute total state control without having tons of problems, and the fact that it's backfired and stagnated the economy. Of course, none of that matters, because as Alex Jone says, they can't care about money or anything else, just power -- funny how they'll spend generations to execute a vast conspiracy to control people all in the name of power, yet will give up their own potential power to take control today; trust me, they'll declare martial law any decade, just you wait.
