I am blogger from various HIQ websites, such as: Torr,WIN, IHIQS and AtlantIQ.

I watched the Zeitgeist triology and I am very interested in the ideas of Jacques Fresco.

I have an open mind and I would like to see at any arguments which support/ debunk the Zeitgeist Movement/ The Venus Project.

All the best, Hardy.

Still need to figure out how you plan to rationally allocate goods with out market prices for an entire economy. Also how would you not suffer from sensory deprivation in a city proposed by Fresco like the Brazilians when they built the city of Brasília?

That's not a very nice welcome!

I am intellectually curious about something. I have entered these forums to discover information about an movement and the first thing you tell me to do is "go away"?

Seriously, anticultist, is that all you have to say?

I may as well return to the HIQ blogs, where people are more welcoming. I am not, however, one to be bullied.

To think I PM'd you, trying to find out information and you treat someone with disdain.

I'm sorry Jim Jesus, I am a little discombobulated by your posts: I am new here, and I am willing to listen.

Can you elaborate a little more about the sensory deprivation?

Do you think the current system really fufills the unspoken needs of nine billion people? Human behaviour is defined by the environment we live in; needs and wants are conditioned.

Advertising is a crass form of indoctrination, as we all know. How many people want things because they are conditioned to believe "X" has value?

Noone here is interested in how TZM or TVP will work, they have been rebuked on numerous occasions on this forum, and you coming here asking for us to enter into a debate for the thousandth time about the same topics is dull. It is akin to talking about the same topic again and again individually with every human on Earth.

If you havent bothered to read the information on this website detailing how and why TZM/TVP are nonsense then there is no reason for me to be polite with you. You need to research for yourself as the TZM mantra goes. There is a lot of information held on this site so go and read it.

Thats all there is to it, and I have no interest in explaining why as I have done it thousands of times before.

TZM is based on myopic garbaged that no intellectual or activist would ever take seriously. It says its about science, but its not- its based on dreams with no awareness of the complex realities at hand. Be very wary of any system that claims to know all the problems of man kind and how to solve them.

Okay, I understand what you have said. Nevertheless, there is no need to be haughty and supercilious with someone who is willing to learn from you.

I am a teacher - perhaps I am used to pupils coming to me, and being helpful, and, to use a trite word, nice. Manners maketh the man.

Whilst I could trawl many, many, many debates, I like to discuss things with people myself. I find that the individual questions I want answered may different to everyone else's.

I didn't ask you to come into the public domain and enter this, and, to be honest, you have been quite rude.

If someone compliments your knowledge, responding as you have isn't indicative of a gentleman.

This isn't a TZM, TVP or RBE forum. If you want to discuss what you like about those "ideas," find a forum related to them. This isn't one.

We've covered this topic endlessly, and I have no interest in holding the hand of another idiotic kid who watched some YouTube movies and thinks he's figured out the secret of life.

"Can you elaborate a little more about the sensory deprivation?"

"The city was then designed from the ground up, according to an elaborate and unified plan. Housing, work, recreation, traffic, and public administration were each spatially segregated."[9] Costa planned out enormous, empty, square plazas for recreation, and gigantic, geometric monuments for the glorification of the state. The planners even decided how many citizens would reside in Brasília: 557,000.

But when people first came to live in the newly constructed city, they found this perfectly legible landscape deeply disorienting. "Compared to life in Rio and Sao Paulo, with their color and variety, the daily round in bland, repetitive, austere Brasília … resembled life in a sensory deprivation tank."[10] And the new residents even coined the term brasilite — meaning "Brasília-itis" — to describe the effect of living there.

"Do you think the current system really fufills..."
I'm going to stop you there because I don't care, I'm not for this "current system" nor does it matter. You can't prove creationism by debunking evolution. Tell us how this will work.

Instantly, I'm a troll? *Sighs*

All I have done is join a website which has a lot of interesting posters, whom I wish to learn from. I found some of these posts through the net because I am quite objective and willing to listen, rather than indolently believe something. After expressing an interest, I am told to "go away", branded a "concern troll" and "fuck off". I think there is a lot of paranoia around here...

FYI, Matt, I am 26 and a teacher. Your straw man argument is quite poor -- please don't attempt to find implicit or alternative meanings in my posts because it is quite disingenuous. You are obviously guilty of ignoratio elenchi, and like a lot of people over the internet, you are getting brave from behind your computer screen.

Whilst I am sure this is a cathartic experience for you, as face to face communication requires greater tact, please refrain from future self-titillation from stomping on social boundaries.

I haven't sworn at anyone and I am not rude to people. Perhaps, you could just say, "Nice to vitually meet you, buddy. There is a lot of information on "x link" :)" et cetera.

I am bowing out now -- I will read the posts and may participate when I have gained some more knowledge.

At IHIQS and Torr, it is a lot friendlier. I haven't assumed to have found any great truths, I just wished to discuss a few things in an earnest way. Enjoy your flaming.

JimJesus - thanks for the information you have posted, it is most interesting. It seems you are the only poster I have come into contact with who is genuine, so thanks, mate.

All the best to you, Hardy.

Perhaps I should just allow myself to be indoctrinated; that, it seems, would be something you would prefer.

VTV claims he "debunked" this even though he tripped up over the very idea of what a conceptual genealogy is and continued to claim that I was "trying to prove guilt by association." I wasn't, I was showing that all parts of RBE exist in earlier, older philosophies in much more coherent forms and still face some very serious challenges. That's the last thing I'm going to say about it.
