I shoot you dead. Level: 9 CS Original | Because if something is all natural, it sure can't hurt you, right? Hemlock, poison ivy, black mamba venom, black widow venom, jellyfish neurotoxin...these all natural things can't hurt you, because they're natural! I think the 'all natural' fallacy is my favorite logical fallacy.

Hybrid Level: 2 | It doesn't even have to be poisonous, too much of any natural/herbal remedy can be dangerous. Chamomile for example, considered one of the safest and most gentle herbs out there. Not if you're allergic to anything in the daisy family. Wormwood, used in Absinthe, can cause hallucinations. There is a very fine line between the amount that causes hallucinations and the amount that causes convulsions and death. Then there are the essential oils. People use this stuff without any knowledge, the oils from such common kitchen herbs as thyme and oregano can be dangerous if not properly used. I'm all for natural remedies when it comes to minor things like colds and flus, minor burns and such but common sense has to fit in there somewhere.
