Why do people say that money is taken from the poor to give to the rich? Is there any actual proof for this?

Also, why do people say the rich pay less tax than the poor? Only some companies dodge taxes and afaik it is harder for people to dodge income tax.

This whole "Stealing from the working class" stuff is on the same level as TZM and the right wing stuff in my opinion.

Because they're under the impression poor people are just on welfare and are wasting their money. Bootstraps!

I think they usually mean less in proportioner to their wealth, not less overall.

Did you fall out of the 1920s or something? The labor movement and so forth is not even remotely close to anything like TZM.

Its on the same level as TZM as in alot of the members of TZM share the same views on wealth, corporations and poverty. Plus in my opinion blaming rich people for trying to keep poor people poor or for engineering the financial crisis is the same as the "elites" of the right wing extremists.

Probably centrist, I'm not a fan of wingnuttery, religious fundamentalism or libertarianism, and I do support socialist concepts such as welfare, universal healthcare, subsidies for education and so on, but I am not a fan of blaming rich people for poor people being poor, nor am I interested in any anti business/anti corporate views.

I really wouldn't think many TZM members have a coherent understanding of any economics at all, they just co-op whatever fits with what they're saying. I mean they'll preach things that sound Marxist, and then turn around and bitch about central banking and the need for a gold standard. They're all over the place, because they really don't know a damn thing about what's going on in the world.

That's a pretty healthy view to have, it typically keeps people from being too crazy in any respect. There's no "radical center," unless you're David Nolan or something.
