Level: 3 CS Original | http://www.oddworldforums.net/showthread.php?t=20210 'I was reading about what is known about Citizen Siege's plot, and i noticed how it relates to the New World Order conspiracy. Also in all the Oddworld games the enemy is some big mega-corporate entinty. Concidence? or is Lorne trying to tell us something' I just can't get away from this stuff! But meh Oddworld is a good game series and is based in an obviously fictional world so I don't care if the people who made it believe in the NWO. Also I notice CT'ers tend to think everything is a 'hidden message'. If they wanted to 'tell us something' why don't they just do it instead of hiding messages?

I shoot you dead. Level: 9 CS Original | Well, if they made it too obvious, the men in black would come and get them. I guess it can't occur to this person that a mega corporate entity makes for a good, if cliche, villain.

Level: 0 CS Original | The thing that conspiracy theorists don't realize is that fiction that references conspiracies isn't always done as a coded message trying to warn the public. It's that conspiracy theories make great fodder for fiction! A global conspiracy controlled by a secret Satanic brotherhood to enslave the world? The power elite are actually descendants of some evil race of blood-drinking reptiles? JFK was killed because he opposed a coup of the U.S. government? These are all the makings of great stories. That's why I find conspiracy theories so fascinating, because I think they're damn entertaining fiction.
