They say things like "only 1/3 of Americans pay taxes" but fail to mention that 2/3rds don't qualify; there's an average of 2.01 children per female adult in the US. The math works out quite well. | |||||

I know this generation is the largest since the baby boomers in the US. Also you have to consider the religious leadership community, the unemployed, the disabled, the extremely elderly (also an extremely large number) that pay little or no income tax. | |||||

Level: 0 CS Original | Yes very correct and presumably those on social security/income support, etc,. Me and a friend were discussing this over dinner last night and at the time just looking at the number it was kind of a 'what the fuck' situation. The number makes a hell of a lot more sense taking all that into account. | |||||
