Just look at their net worth, there are thousands of people with far more money than them. They were a popular scape goat at the turn of the 20th century, but like matt said, it's just a way of suggesting Jews without saying it.

Additionally, they claim these guys are really rich. A lot of CTers love guys like Peter Schiff...a few months back, I think it was Joe who posted a link to Peter Schiff's net worth, which I think was 70 or 75 million.

You would think that CT'ers would at least change the names to make these conspiracies more relevant... but I guess that's just asking too much.

One time I sent a link of the Forbs Billianers list to a CTer asking if these are the guys who run the NWO. The reply that I got back was that they were nobodys simply clerks and middle manegment types. Going on to say that compared to the "Bloodlines" thier moniey was pocket change. So in the minds of CTers Bill Gates and Warren Buffet work for the Rothschilds.
P.S. I would love to have that kind of pocket change.
