I hate the 2012 shit. All of it. ALL OF IT. Something that everyone is turning to for their particular doomsday theory, including the Austrian economic armageddon morons. Yet another thing where people, for reasons I just do not understand, put more faith in anything ancient over modern science, even though they do not understand either. And even the modern Maya think this whole 2012 thing is a load of horseshit and its peddlers and supporters a bunch of money-grubbing scam artists.

I think across the board from Alex Jones conspiracy theorists to people of religions they all buy into this 2012 conspiracy theory. I think at most people could artificially create their own insanity and maybe just maybe create their own 2012 dooms day. It's really all in a persons head.

This could be another year 2000 scare with computers, but it seems like people are taking this more serious. When nothing happens in 2012 I wonder how such believers will cope when nothing happening. even though i will debunk all 2012 CT's I am afraid to say that 2012 may be the year of the CT's but I have a strong feeling that when nothing happens all CT groups will reduce in numbers dramatically. I think AJ will lose popularity among others. Although 2012 CT's will make up excuses and try to extend their life span most people are not dumb and 2012 debunkings will soon take priority along with the scientific method which involves reasoning, and logic along with common sense.

I think the only reason people are taking it more seriously is because more people have access to the endless river of bullshit that is the internet, and people who actually know what they're talking about usually have better things to do than create websites. And when they do, like the 2012hoax people, they get drowned out by the idiots.

Otherwise, I really hope you're right, and that when nothing happens, CTs will reduce in popularity. Even though they'll probably latch onto another doomsday date.
