The little bit of the 'New Age' spirituality I used to believe. Once I saw how much utter woo-woo they buy into, I've rejected it. Woo in question that many New Agers associate with: Alternative medicine quackery, organic food, totally anti-GMO, anti-vaxx, greenwashing/environmental fundamentalism and zealotry to the point of being anti-humans, AMA/FDA/Big Pharma conspiracies, astrology, rejection of ALL science and trying to point to 'paradigm shift' for why they reject science (how ironic), TZM attracts New Agers, and worst of all, the 2012 Mayanism crap - they vary from the shift in consciousness to end of the world, but it seems many New Agers can't wait for 2012. Oh, and some of them advocate for some variety of revolution or societal collapse - while claiming to want peace. Yeah, that's cognitive dissonance right there.

So yeah. Another thing I've rejected since becoming a better skeptic/critical thinker.

I find that new agers want to reject anything that is main stream and say its bad or pseudo science. They think their new found belief is the ultimate understanding of the universe and everything in it even explaining why we are alive and our purpose in life. They tend to walk between things being black or white with no gray in-between. What you have is a narrow minded religion or group that is based off philosophical belief that is not backed up by science let alone logic and reason.

When a individual or groups impose their philosophy onto me that is not based off science, logic or reason but just a philosophical belief I think they instantly over stepped their bounds with me. I consider myself a spiritual person with my own beliefs, but if someone were to push their beliefs onto me I would make it known that I don't really buy into what their talking about and make it known that I don't really want to talk about it unless being critical about their own belief. Even if their being critical about their own belief their is a limit to the amount I can take before I don't even care to listen to their belief.
