The Bible speaks of earthquakes happening in diverse, (different), places when the end of time is approaching. It has many other warnings also, but specifically, it speaks of earthquakes. Matthew 24:7, Mark 13:8, and Luke 21:11, to be specific, are passages in the Bible that speak of earthquakes in reference to the end of time.

Luke 21:11, clearly says there will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences, in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

There has and always will be earthquakes with or without humanity being here to worship or demolish a God [until such a time when the earth itself ceases to exist].

It is simply a natural by product of planetary cycles. There are even earthquakes on other planets which in all likelihood will cause utter devastation to their condition.
Should we ascribe a penultimate warning and prediction that an almighty deity is responsible for this too?

or is this deity only creating earthquakes on this planet and letting all the other planets have natural earthquakes?

If you want earthquakes, famines, pestilence, war, death and antichrists innumerable, you're better off looking in the 17th century.

There's always been earthquakes everywhere. It's just that people care more about them now, because of the big ones that hit Haiti and Chile recently.

^ argonessen is correct.

Everytime there is a major earthquake, especially if there's one in the US, it's proof of the end times, whether it be today or in 1989, or 1906, or the mid 1800s when there were earthquakes in the mid-west.

By the way Danny, if you believe the bible to be literal, I assume you keep kosher as well?

Isaiah 65:3-6 "A people who provoke me to anger continually to my face . . . who eat swine's flesh, and the broth of abominable things is in their vessels . . . These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all day long. Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom."

If God was serious about Earthquakes, surely he was serious about proper, holy diets as well.

And, don't trim your side burns, that's a sin too.

So, we're turning to the Bible as a pool for seismological prediction, are we?

With all due respect to God (and I do believe in God), I'd rather trust a geologist.

"Still undecided and think it's coindence? "

Undecided on what? What are my options to decide on?

Every time there's a natural disaster, someone says "THE END IS NEAR!". No different than the guy standing on the street corner holding a sign that says the same thing. People have been interpreting apocalyptic predictions to fit their own lives and times since these predictions have existed, and people will continue to do so for probably forever.
