Level: 4 CS Original | How do you respond to somebody who believes the Civil Rights Act and the Americans With Disabilities Act are socialism and use the libertard arguments?

Level: 5 CS Original | There's a difference between fairness and socialism. Libertardians act like if the government makes ANY DECISION at all whatsoever, it's socialism. If they do just a teeny, tiny bit more, it's full on communism. If you asked any North Korean or North Vietnamese person if they thought what was happening in America was anything close to socialism/communism, they'd laugh in your face.

Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | "Or just ask any member of the American Socialist party." You probably don't want to talk to them any more than you'd want to talk to a libertardian.

Level: 4 CS Original | Matt, Too late. His response: "Like I said before, I can't speak for North's goofy predictions. I don't follow his website, his predictions nor do I give him money on a regular basis. What I do like are his books on the philosophy of economics, limited government and theology. Ones that deal with the foundational principles of those things, not his predictions about the future. Certainly, racism is a disgusting sin and should never be promoted in any government or society. Rand is right that government-racial laws should not exist and the CRA was right to speak against them. But it went too far when it sought to take control of the private sector. A business owner's authority to refuse service to anyone for any reason is not a crime. If he refuses service due to racism, then it's a sin, and good citizens should boycott that business. But it's not a "crime" since you cannot regulate matters of the heart. It's the same reason that lust, greed and pride aren't crimes. Only God knows the heart. This is why God's law in the Bible makes a distinction between sins and crimes. All crimes are sins, but not all sins are crimes. (Furthermore, refusing service to someone is not a crime because there's no aggression to the person being refused!) Next time you eat at MacDonald's, you may notice their sign on the wall saying "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." This is the privilege of ownership in action. It's the same principle that allows you to refuse people into your home. Does anyone have the right to come into your home? Of course not. You decide. You discriminate all the time when it comes to people you hang out with, who you eat with, who you have sex with, and who you let into your home. No different with a business owner. You are both *owners*! The right to own property does come from the God of Xtianity, as revealed in the Bible. You are wrong that only a select few could own property. The 8th Commandment "Thou shall not steal" assumes the validity of private property (if there is no private property, there is no such thing as theft). Theft is a crime, and has judicial penalties all throughout Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy. The Jubilee laws were implemented to make sure that Israelite families were not property-less, and all land was inherited by children from generation to generation (Numbers 27; Deuteronomy 21; Leviticus 25, etc.) This is not a religious card. My whole philosophy on government is because of my religious beliefs. If it's not based in religion, what else could it be based in? If you adopt an atheistic view of the world, then everything is relative and subjective. It would be illogical for you to tell me ANYTHING was morally right or wrong. Such concepts cannot logically exist without God. For instance, why do you think that businesses should be forced to allow anyone into their shop? By what authority? If you cannot appeal to an ultimate standard based in objective truth, then it has no authority over me."

Level: 3 CS Original | Jesus, doesn't seem to like debating with this guy is possible. As with all religious nuts. He's basically saying "Racists will be dealt with by Jesus on Judgement day, so don't punish them now!"
