Skeptic Project

After the bashing I received, I was interested in hearing a wider array of opinions on the subject of our family. We make about 100-110k per year combined, we work mostly opposing schedules to minimize daycare type fill ins, our oldest is almost 12 and she is basically our stop gap as far as babysitting. We eat anything we want, we all have flat screen t.v.s, cell phones, the whole shebang. The only real want I have is that we are usually unable to indulge in vacations, which I want. The premise seemed to be that we could not raise all our children properly, however, they are all ace students (my third grader,Brendan, does struggle with math), and they are all involved in multiple sports. We do not go to church, but I feel that does not limit our ability to impart morals. When we are not working, our life is dedicated to the family. While they sleep I make posts like this, and partake in IRC. I also love football. That is all I have outside of my family life. Comments or discussion? (Minus Matt who's only ability seems to be random "fallacy" based insults in IRC)

Nah. This tool tried to school Falkner and got rocked. Now he's crying about it in pretty much every thread.

I didn't care about your family, I cared about your rather dubious use and understanding of evidence and of the english language. Outside of that, its your family and one day your kids will grow up and either follow your example or not. Everyone else can speak about the fact that you have 7 kids, but I'm not going to sit by and watch you dismiss scientific evidence based on an anecdote and then just blatantly ignore the mathematics behind said evidence.
