Did anyone catch the BBC 2 documentary investigating why so many people are questioning the science behind climate change.

It was a pretty good show, although I would have prefered to hear about more of the science behind the sceptocs view.

Anyway, the guy presenting the show is Paul Nurse, a Nobel proze winning scientist. (on a side note, he also attended by Doctorate graduation ceremony at The University of Livrpool and gave an incredibly inspiring speech.)

He interviews famous climate sceptic Jamed Delingpole, who I think broke the climategate story, and floors him completely. Take a look:

Delingpole answered back on his blog for the Daily Telegraph here (the forum of which is a pretty interesting read):

Enjoy

Climategate was such a joke. All Climategate showed was that scientists tend to think of the rabble as... well, a rabble.

I can't say I disagree.

Also worth mentioning that Delingpole is a regular on Alex Jones' show.

Here is his latest blog, where he again challenges the premise of the documentary and retaliated against Ben Goldacre (author of Bad Science) after he tweeted that delingpole is a penis.

Quite an amusing read - the guy writes well, even if he is penis!!

@NWO - I agree on the whole, especially with regards the 'trick' comment made...which was completely misinterpreted. However there remains the issue of the comment about keeping a new paper out of a journal. I cant remember the exact wording, but it was a definate indication that Phil Jones would now allow it past the peer review process. A couple of the independent investigations did not reach a conclusion on tyhe ethics of this email due to there being a lack of sufficient evidence.
