One of the dumbest things that I haer CTers say is that youtube is censoring them. Thier clame to this is thatyoutueb is "holding" back the counter. Which does not make sience to me because if thier was really censorship going on; they would not be able to post thier vids at all.

Not surprising. These people scream persecution faster than you can say fuck.

I sometimes wish someone really would censor them, just once, to see how loud they would scream.

Yeah they're idiots. The counter is cached. You can tell if you watch the video of a really popular person, because the views are like 300 but the comments are 500+. It's because they're being cached while the system counts it properly. This is to stop people from sitting and refreshing to give a video an artificially high number of views, which apparently people used to do.

Theres one video of Alex Jones going on about internet bandwidth limits and how you have to pay if you go over. From what I can tell he was implying they introduced it to stop people watching Infowars videos.

Zeitgeisters regularly say they are being censored on youtube, even when all the films were still up in their entirety. I love how they believe in incompetent bad guys.

So basicly CTers are mad because it may be thier 300 time watching the same vid and they are being counted once. Typical crack pot belief: "I like it so every body else must like it." Doee it it ever occure to them that the reason that the counter stops is that except for the CT community no normal person is going to take the time to look at it.

No that's not what it is Joe. For example, if you watch a video of someone with 30,000+ subscribers it gets such a major amount of traffic that the counter is cached BECAUSE so many people are viewing it. It doesn't cache because someone is sitting watching it 300 times. Like it or not, Alex has a hell of a big audience - and that's why his videos always get cached because so many people are watching them. But, apparently he's not aware of it.
