I know far too many fashion vegans who tell everyone they are vegans but don't really adhere to it at all.

I don't mind people being vegan, however, one thing I have come to decide is that it's the height of bad etiquette to comment negatively on someone elses dietary choices - most of us have probably met vegans that think they're better than everyone else because they don't consume animal products. Well, they're not - they're just being rude.

I was vegan for about 5 months. It was hell.

Moral pressure, which is usually why most people go vegan. They see videos arguing for it and they feel guilt-tripped.

They think that even though we did it, it was unnatural because we had to cook it & it'd kill us if we didn't cook it etc, etc,.

I do care about animals. Seeing animals being abused is a sore spot for me, hence why I've worked with the SPCA in the past.

However I'm not going to torture myself and be miserable by cutting out ALL animal products. Which is a stupid premise to begin with, because when you stop eating meat, all you do is reduce the demand. Then people can get it at a cheaper price just because some hippie is on a moral high horse.

While I'm at it; tofu is the nastiest, most pointless invention in the food industry.

I care about animals to the extent that I think needlessly torturing animals should be punishable by law and conservation of species is important.

But I honestly don't care if a chicken or a cow is killed for food, because to be honest, I'm not convinced the chicken or the cow does either.

Also they taste so good.
