"I'm sure Snob will claim that since Beck doesn't call himself a Republican, not just right wingers listen to him."

Very funny.

"In fact the county GOP organizes the local tea party."

Wait, I thought Snob said the Teabaggers hated the Republican Party?

Gosh! Could that be untrue? Gee I wonder!

When people become disenchanted with the Republican party, they go one of two ways. They either become Teabaggers/Libtardarians, or they do what I do and kind of wander around in political limbo.

I'm sure if you asked a random Teabagger, they'd be just as critical of the GOP.

Then why does the Republican Party have a Tea Party Caucus? Why does the RNC Chairman openly court The Tea Party?

You just don't want to own up to the fact that your Party has been taken over.

There you go again calling it "my party." I haven't been in support of the Republican Party for nearly five years now.

I might still be registered as a Republican, but that means jack shit.

You do nothing but defend them, even going so far as to try and invent a fantasy scenario where the Tea Party is not a wing of the Republican Party.

I was under the impression that Tea Party was a grassroots organization and now the GOP is in the process of assimilating them. Is that incorrect?

All that link tells me is that Fox News supports the Teabaggers. I already knew that. What I was asking you is how it started.

I thought that the Tea Party started because of how abysmally bad the Republicans did in the 2006 and 2008 elections.

Why does it matter how it started? It would never have received any attention if it weren't for Fox and the rest of the right wing noise machine.

How often does Fox cover libertardian events? Never, so I don't buy the libertardian line.

At least, the loser-terrorist wasn't spouting off the "literacy" crap he posted on youtube.

All he had to say was, "Ow, my arm. My arm."

Brave words from a grown man who just shot a 9-year old girl.

"Why does it matter how it started?"

Because it sounded like you were suggesting that the Tea Party has always been an extension of the GOP. I was asking if that was true or not.

Just because Fox got behind it doesn't tell me much.

"How often does Fox cover libertardian events?"

I don't know about events, but they will with candidates. Glenn Beck had that one psychopath that ran under the libtardarian ticket in 2008 (his name escapes me) on his show a handful of times and was basically giving verbal fellatio.

Glenn Beck is only like one hour of the entire Fox day.

Look at it this way:

All Fox talking heads covered Tea parties.
Only one Fox talking head covers libertardians.

So again, I do not buy into the idea that this was a libertardian thing.
