![]() HAIL HYDRA Level: 6 CS Original | I find it rather ridiculous that the Pope would conceptualize God in anthropocentric terms and feel compelled to reconcile faith and science on such a rather superficial layer. Don't get me wrong, I do personally believe in a God, but I honestly don't think that it does any service to theological thought or belief to attempt to reconcile science and doctrine. I also happen to think that all doctrines are inherently flawed interpretations, but thats a different story. When it comes down to it, I just see this as a move to try and gain good PR rather than accomplish any meaningful theological work. | |||||
