Hopefully you guys can help me out with this one.

Someone linked me to this article on lol rense about Hunt's alleged deathbed confession about the Kennedy assassination.

The link to the rolling stone article in question is:

However, it only leads back to the Rolling Stone's main politics page. So I tried digging up some information on this, but I haven't been able to turn up much. The above link is the only link listed that I could find, all the links are also posted on mostly conspiracy sites.

Furthermore, the article is attributed to one Erik Hedegaard... but I can't really find much information on him either. He does in fact work for Rolling Stone, but most of his articles seem to be relegated to the gossip column.

Have any of you run across this claim before?

That seems to be the original source for this claim as far as I could tell, it still links to the same not-quite functioning rolling stone link.

Have you heard this particular claim before, Ed? I think this was published in 2007. And the "original" article is by Larry Chin who has a huge portfolio of conspiracy writings.
