I used to believe in the rapture and nwo theories espoused by many fundamentalist Christians in the 1990s. Are these ideas still popular with fundies? Have they changed? I haven't really read up about them in the last few years.

Ah yes I watched that documenatary and it was truly dumbfounding, at times it was hard to believe.

Particularly the couple who it opens with who work for an arms company designing missiles and doing the computer programming for them, who have the gaul to sit and say they discussed god scientifically to validate it between each other. Making themselves out to be critical thinkers, but they provide no scientific evidence or proof of why they came to the conclusion that god and rapture is coming.
The only evidence that shows is the husband was pussy whipped by his wife into believing and going to church to get some action in the bedroom.

Theres also kids whos parents make them believe the end times are due soon.

If you can handle shouting at the TV screen its for you.

I've asked people who buy into the whole "gold is money" crowd if I can have their Federal Reserve Notes. None have ever taken me up on that offer though one said he was going to use his to buy silver (yeah right).
