I've never heard Ron Paul actually directly say he wants marijuana legalized. He's *really* good at saying things like "it should be left up to the states" as a way to avoid having an opinion at all. As far as I've seen with Ron Paul fans is, he makes every one of them think he's on their side, even if they're vastly ideologically different from each other. He's like John Edward, he's vague, and as far as I know, he's as full of shit as a psychic.

He finally did openly advocate for drug legalization on some interview he was doing for Fox along with Sarah Palin. I remember seeing the video on YouTube because some Paultard slapped me with it when I said Paul had never openly advocated for drug legalization. It sucked because I got owned by a Paultard.
