Skeptic Project

So, today I was interviewed by a guy who is making some sort of documentary on conspiracy theorists vs. skeptics. I admit I was a little leery at first, but the guy was not combative at all and the interview went pretty smoothly.

He was interested mostly in JFK assassination stuff, why I'm a debunker, and a few other odds and ends topics such as the journalistic integrity (or lack thereof) of Alex Jones. Zeitgeist was mentioned, and at one point we got into 9/11 and he was surprised and intrigued to hear about the context of the Silverstein "pull it" quote. Overall I think it was a productive interview.

He's promised me an opportunity to back out of the project if I don't like how I'm portrayed in the finished film (he'll show me an advance copy). Not a lot of CT's would offer that sort of guarantee.

This goes to show, you can have a reasonable discussion with conspiracy believers.

I'm definitely interested in seeing this as well, and hell, if he breaks his word, we could always wale on him.

Not yet, I think it's still in the early stages. The title will be "Smoke and Mirrors," from what I understand...although the guy making it seems generally pro-CT, at the end of the interview he said he was impressed enough to make some changes to his plan for the movie and how the interview would be used.
