Whenever a famous person makes a not-so-secret hand signal, like the devil horns or the peace sign, the CTer's go off the wall, claiming that it is proof that they are a member of the Illuminati.

So, why are those hand signals associated with the Illuminati in the first place?

It's just a natural progression, because anything considered "occult" in the 1970s and 80s is now a part of the Illuminati myths as well, because people like Texe Marrs claim they're devil worshipers or whatever.

Anyone who claims the "I love you" hand sign ligature is in any way related to the horns is also a moron, because it just combines the signing letters for I, L, and Y, it only coincidentally looks like that. Hellen Keller also did not invent American Sign Language, and she was not an occultist, she was just a socialist, which might as well be a baby-killing satanist to someone like Texe Marrs who thinks all of the socialist and communist movements are Jewish conspiracies.

I forget is it Texe Marrs or Jim Marrs who thinks that the Proticols of Zion are a real and are a real historical ducument and sells it on his web site.

The "I love you" isn't really even close to the Devil/Rock on hand gesture, you need to point that straight up and have your thumb touching your two middle fingers.

The horned hand goes back to Italy, where people would use it as a protection against the "evil eye." Dio, in "The History of Heavy Metal," said he brought it to Heavy Metal, although Gene Simmons says he is the one who did so. Dio said he took the gesture from his Italian grandma ... makes sense to me.

The horned hand is also used as a greeting in modern Wicca. Wiccans consider anything older than 3 weeks as ancient and arcane. You still gotta love 'em though.
