Alex Jones it allowed to run his web sites, sell his DVDs and with the premission of the FCC have a radio show. CTers are able to put shit all over the internet with no fear of it being removed. Nexus and other "alteritive news" magizines can be found at stores like Barns and Noble and Hastings. Hundreds of CT books are published and can found at Barns and Noble and Amizon. But yet they are be censored. How?
If there was some all powerful control group. Gauss what they whould never have been able to get the "truth" out in the first place. Hay if there was such a group there would have not been a internet in the first place.

It is kind of funny that the "Illuminaiti/NWO" is supposed to be more evil and all powerful as the Sovet Union and Nazi Germany combined. But are unable to put down the "enemies". So Stalin was able to do the Great Purge of his enemies. Hitler was able to do the Night of the Long Knives. But the all powerful Bilderburg Group can not take out Jim Tuker.
That is what I am saying Edward if there was government censorship the Obama Decepion would of never been seen at all. Hell it would have never been made.

Truthfully I do have mix feelings about this. One it spreads this bulls shit. But at the same time you know that there is no censorship going on.

But as I said if the was censorship Zeitgeist would of never been mad in the first place. If there was a "NWO" I would have to say Tsarist Russia had a better secret police then the "NWO".
I am starting to find it funny when Truthers see a cop car go by. Then they are like oppression, operession! But how meny them have to worry about being sent to Sibbira.

It is so prefect that nobody has ever been taken by them. Or is that what "they" want us to think.

Well the great thing about this country, (contrary to what CT'ers would have you believe) is that they CAN pretty much say anything they want. Now, I would argue that this is harmful in many ways, but it might even be more harmful if they were censored. So what can we do? Well, I think they best thing is to do what this site and many other sites do... counter the claims with solid facts and evidence, expose the lies that these CT'ers peddle, and hopefully prevent more people from succumbing to the CT'er line of thinking.

As Carl Sagan once pointed out, people from all fields have to deal with their fair share of cranks. Astronomers have to deal with astrologers, Geologists have to deal with Flat Earthers, Biologists have to deal with Creationists, Paleontologists have to deal with Ancient Astronauts, etc., etc.

But I think what makes this different, is that with the exception of creationism... most of this stuff is too fringe for the average Joe (no pun intended), but conspiracy theories seem to be gaining ground in the internet age, and I believe they have the most potential to impact things.

Its actually rather funny because CT'rs use that flag and DMCA on videos that counter them rather regularly, and you dont hear them complaining about censorship then.

As some have pointed out, CT's aren't censored nor should they be. Obviously that would be an attack on freedom of speech, thus I agree with Sil. Counter arguments and facts is all you really need. The majority of the actual people are harmless anyway, so I personally don't care. There's a lot more things I worry about then someone spewing CT's like an Alex Jones. Alex Jones to me, is an entertainer. No more, no less. I actually enjoy listening to how crazy and bat-shit he gets sometimes.

Not to mention that some CT'ers disable their comments or set them to approval only.
